Despite its past challenges, the citadel exudes an aura of grace and majesty that endures to this day.

Next to take a cyclo ride, a traditional Vietnamese bicycle rickshaw, and traverse the dai noi, or "Old City," to Tinh Tam Lake. This serene lake, adorned with lotus flowers during the summer, served as a retreat for the emperors.  Continue your journey to the renowned Thien Mu Pagoda, perched atop a hill and overlooking the Perfume River.  Lunch and savor the flavors of Hue cuisine.
