The tour begins with a morning visit to Da Nang’s Cham Museum, where you’ll explore the rich history of the ancient Cham civilization. Next, head to the majestic Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills dotted with caves, temples, and stunning viewpoints. Climb to the summit for panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding landscape. Continue to Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula, where you can see the towering 67-meter Lady Buddha statue and enjoy sweeping views of Da Nang Bay.

In the afternoon, arrive in the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town, renowned for its well-preserved architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Stroll through the charming streets, visit historical landmarks such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, and enjoy the colorful lanterns that adorn the town. You’ll have time to explore local markets, try traditional snacks, and soak in the old-world charm of Hoi An.  Overnight in Hoi An.

After approximately 1 hour driving from central Hoi An, arrive at the cultural highlight of Central Vietnam, the temple complex at My Son (pronounced Me Sern). The tower temples, which were granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1999, served as the seat of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence between the 4th and 13th centuries.

Wander around the crumbling ruins, hearing about the Cham culture, its rulers, and their impressive reign. Take a moment to soak up the serene atmosphere and imagine what My Son was like in its heyday.

Before departing the site, visit a small museum that has some fascinating displays about the Cham era. Then take the 1-hour drive back to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast at your hotel, leave Hoi An for Hue by passing by Hai Van Pass or Hai Van Tunnels, the longest tunnels in Southeast Asia. En route to Danang, visit Marble Mountain and Cham Museum in Danang. Proceed to Hue, enjoy lunch at Lang Co beach or in Hue

On arrival at Hue, visit the Imperial Citadel, from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. On the premises of the citadel fortification, bunkers dating back to Vietnam War time contrast with the peacefulness of the local houses sheltered away from the bustling city.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with Hue royal court music. Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at hotel. The morning involves a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River for visits to Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and then visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Minh Mang, Tu Duc, and Khai Dinh. Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Lunch at a local restaurant in Hue.

In the afternoon, visit by cyclo the garden houses of Ngoc Son, which was the former residence of the Princess Ngoc Son, daughter of Emperor Dong Khanh and the lovely Om Garden House, then visit Dong Ba Market, which is the oldest market in Hue, then free at leisure to go shopping or enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at your hotel, free at leisure till being transferred to Hue Intl airport for your onward flight.
